State Running Records: Rules for Ohio Records

Running road race time(s) submitted to OHIO for consideration of an age record must meet the following criteria

• Runner must be a resident of Ohio and a US citizen

• Course must be USATF certified and located in Ohio

• Running time(s) must be equal-to or lower-than the current age record

Ohio will accept gun-time or chip-time for all races and all ages

Runners may request that existing records be reviewed for lower times. Runners must submit the required information (below) plus the current listed time.

When submitting a new Ohio record, you MUST provide the following:

• Runner's NAME

• Runner's AGE ON RACEDAY

• Runner's DATE OF BIRTH

• Runner's HOMETOWN on raceday

• Complete RACE RESULTS (or a link to them)

• RACE DATE and RACE CITY

• USATF COURSE CERTIFICATION #
